ISO 9001-2000 Certificate in Higher Education Environment

One of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Directorate of Academics, after it started since October 1, 2007, finally got the certificate ISO 9001:2000. The delivery was attended by Director General Certificate of Higher Education, Sesdirjen, the director; the present Sucofindo Sucofindo ICS Commercial Director, Ir. Arif Safari, MBA and Vice President SBU Sucofindo ICS, Ir. Yerry Taizar; from Point Development International, Managing Director, Mr. Soleh; of the Center for Information and Public Relations Department of National Education. One of the Sub-Directorate (Sub) Academic truly has applied the quality management system ISO 9001:2000 and the certificate is worthy of Academic Evaluation Sub, particularly in the assessment of higher education diplomas abroad.

One indicator is the completion time. If the first assessment may take 4-5 weeks. At present the application of ISO 9001:2000 to 12 working days. for legalization before the implementation of ISO certificates fastest completed 1 week, 4 days now been completed.

The Sub-units and other work units within the Directorate of Academic, as well as to all the Sub-directorate and its subdit, Director General requested that may also pursue ISO standardization of quality assurance of this. Actually in the environment of ISO 9001:2000 implementation of Higher Education has been started since 2007 in the Directorate of Research and Public Service at; followed by the Academic Directorate of October 1, 2007 and the Directorate of Institutional Labours in 2008.
